With 35 years of laboratory experience, Patty Eschliman, has worked in several different settings. From a third shift generalist, to an HLA Tissue Typing Tech, to supervising Flow Cytometry and; for the past 25 years, laboratory management. An active member of the CLMA since 1997, Patty has held leadership positions within the Nebraska Great Plains Chapter and is currently on the board for the Kansas City/St. Louis Heart of America Chapter. In 2009, Patty was elected to the International Board of Directors and served as President from 2015 – 2017. Fulfilling the CLMA seat on the ASCP Board of Governors, Board of Certification, Patty volunteers as Secretary and serves on the Executive Committee. She is also the BOC Board Liaison to the Laboratory Management Exam (DLM). In 2013, Patty completed her Masters in Healthcare Administration and as of December 2017 is now a Certified Professional Coach, specializing in Laboratory leadership – helping laboratory professionals reach their full potential.
